How Hard is It to Lose 20lbs After My 40s?

It is much easier than you think, I am going to share with you three principles to lose weight at any age.

First of all, you HAVE to want it as bad as you want to breath.


I'm still in my 30s and I have too many responsibilities, I can't imagine how it will be in my 40s but I know it will increase a lot.


In the 40s with children, maybe teenagers... I won't lie to you, it will be hard.


But the good news it…


You won't have to starve yourself or stay hours in the gym, or buy anything different than you already eat, but you will have to be consistent.


In your 40s you already know, consistency is key to anything in life and it won't be different in fitness.


What I am about to share with you is the way you can eat well, train hard and never get lost in fitness.


Those are the three pillars of fitness:


1. RESISTANCE TRAINING


Lifting weights is the best resistance training to build muscle and lose weight.

  • Workout from 45min-60min, daily

  • If you're a beginner, do it 3x a week

  • Don't go crazy on cardio, start with 1x a week

  • Change your workout every month

2. NUTRITION


Calories rule. You must know how much calories you are eating every day as well as your macronutrients.

  • Find you TDEE - Total Daily Energy Expenditure

  • Cut 500kcal from that number

  • Find your macronutrients using the previous number found

  • Drink water daily

  • Get quality sleep every day, 6h per night

  • High protein diet and

  • Lots of salads of your choice

If you did both above and you can't lose weight or achieve your ideal weight, the next pillar of fitness will help you even more.


3. SUPPORT
